About Us
Introduction & Background
The BYC 4 Provinces Cycle Challenge is an exciting new fundraising event in aid of the Belvedere Youth Club. Located in Buckingham Street, the BYC is in the heart of Dublin’s North Inner City.
The area remains very disadvantaged despite being in the shadows of the IFSC and Dublin Docklands and only a short distance from O’Connell Street and the city centre.
The BYC works with young people in the North Inner City. With a team of dedicated youth workers it offers social, recreational and educational programmes to create opportunities and prepare young people for the future.
In addition to personal sponsorship we’d love to hear from businesses or individuals interested in supporting us through sponsorship and advertising opportunities. If you think your company might be willing to get involved in sponsorship or ‘in kind’ sponsorship please contact us. We’d be delighted to hear from you.

Fundraising
To deliver its services to young people, fundraising is vital, and it remains a constant challenge to the BYC. The 2024 edition of the 4 Provinces Cycle Challenge is an exciting personal challenge and an opportunity to support the BYC in its important work.
The event is a vital fundraiser for the BYC and all participants are expected to fundraise a minimum of €1500 – more would be great.
As you train for the 400kms cycle in the coming months, each of us is asked to reach out to friends, family and work colleagues to support you and the BYC via your own fundraising page or they can do so via the ‘Donate’ button here on the BYC website. Make sure to reference who you are supporting.
Using social media (eg Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.), emails, WhatsApp and of course phone calls and face to face meetings, there are more ways than ever to reach our own networks, get the word out and request support. It’s never been easier and the above are all excellent ways to connect.
We are available to assist participants in their fundraising efforts and have prepared digital materials which can be used to communicate with friends, family, work mates etc.
